Hi Sharon, 2 months a go I changed my hair color from black to blonde and now it looks damage what can I do to Recover its shine and health? |
| AskSharon says: |
Tricky not seeing you but chances are you'll need heavy duty corrective color which could run big $$$$. My suggestion may not be what you want to hear, but the most cost effective would be to cut it off and start from scratch. |

hi sharon, i got a perm like a couple months ago and i didnt like it so everyday i brushed it out and my hair got poofy. i used to straighten it every single day because it was all poofy. now my hair is damaged, fried, and broken. what do i do? |
| AskSharon says: |
Combing and or brushing perm will just make it worse. Best bet is to get a curling aid, I know you're probably hating the curls but it's either cutting it or curling it? Your pick. |

Sharon, I have a wedding coming up this Saturday. Attire is supposed to be casual, as the wedding is taking place on the couples farm. I went to Mackinac Island, Michigan a week ago, and I bought THE PERFECT top to wear. Its a black spaghetti-strap with silver sequin flowers and butterflys on the front. The bottom is uneven (a large zigzag pattern - 1 hanging down in the front, one hanging down in the back, and one hanging down on each side). The bottom of each triangle reaches down to...maybe two or three inches below the waist. Im wondering, what should I wear on the bottom half? Its probably going to be warm out (90 degrees), so Id like to be able to wear a skirt or something - however, if you think pants would look better, thats fine, too! Thanks for the help! |
| AskSharon says: |
Sorry if this is too late but a simple solid colored chiffon skirt would be perfect. Your "top" is the main attraction don't wear anything that may compete with it. Try to stay away from seperates like this challenging to find a complementary bottom. |

Sharon, I love the way capris look - casual, comfortable, summery - but personally, I can wear them...they make me look really short (and make my butt look big - LOL). Id really like to wear them, though. My mom suggests trying them with heels, to make me look taller (Im above average in height already). Do you think that would work well, and do you have any other suggestions that could work? Thanks in advance for your time. |
| AskSharon says: |
Adding heels may work, but better yet, make sure the "cut" is right for you. Consider the gaucho instead of capri, much more flattering. |
